Hello!  I am an upstate New York-based illustrator/ artist who loves to work in gouache and oils.  My work has been featured in CALYX, 805, The Sandy River Review and the Park Slope Reader, as well as galleries in Upstate New York and Canada.  I love both fine art realist studies and illustration.  In the summer of 2016 I was awarded an artist's residency on Norton Island, Maine, where I painted in plein air while listening to seals, birds and fishermen.  

My training and focus right now is illustration for children's books, using a variety of techniques, from traditional to digital.  I am also a member of SCBWI and 12x12 writing group.
